Turnaround times may be extended for large sample batches, and additional fees may apply for special samples.
Experimental feasibility is assessed based on information provided by the client; pricing varies according to the complexity of the experiment. Please consult our technical service staff for details.
Kits are provided or procured by UpingBio; the cost of kits is charged separately.
Sample Requirements
1. Clients must provide fresh or properly preserved samples for testing; liquid samples are preferred (e.g., cell culture supernatant, tissue homogenate, serum, plasma, urine, pleural fluid, ascites, cerebrospinal fluid, etc.).
a) Cell culture supernatant: Centrifuge to remove precipitates and collect the supernatant.
b) Serum: Allow blood to clot naturally at room temperature for 10–20 minutes, then centrifuge for approximately 20 minutes (2,000–3,000 rpm) and collect the supernatant. Centrifuge again if precipitates are present.
c) Plasma: Select an appropriate anticoagulant (EDTA, sodium citrate, or heparin) according to the kit instructions. Add the anticoagulant (0.1 M sodium citrate, 1% heparin, or 2.0% EDTA-Na2), mix for 10–20 minutes, centrifuge for approximately 20 minutes (2,000–3,000 rpm), and collect the supernatant. Centrifuge again if precipitates are present.
d) Tissue homogenate: Grinding in liquid nitrogen and the addition of protease inhibitors are recommended.
e) Cell homogenate: The addition of protease inhibitors is recommended.
2. Clients must provide detailed information regarding the samples (e.g., species of origin, sample type, etc.).
3. Clients must provide the biochemical assay kit; alternatively, kits manufactured by us may be used, or we can purchase them on the client's behalf.
4. Shipping requirements: Samples must be protected from contamination and repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Service Terms
1. If the experiment fails due to issues with the biochemical assay kit provided by the client, the client shall bear the resulting losses.
2. Clients are responsible for the materials and information they provide; the client shall bear the cost of any experimental delays or financial losses resulting from inaccurate materials or information provided by them.
3. We guarantee the authenticity and accuracy of the experimental results; however, due to the inherent uncertainty of scientific experiments, we make no guarantees regarding whether the results will meet expectations.
