This kit uses a double antibody sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). In a microwell ELISA plate pre-coated with anti-PCSK9 antibody (solid phase antibody), add PCSK9 calibrator and the sample to be tested, then add biotin-labeled antibody, incubate and fully wash, then add HRP-coupled avidin, incubate and fully wash to remove unbound components, and form a sandwich complex of solid phase antibody-antigen-biotin-labeled antibody-avidin enzyme on the solid phase surface of the microwell plate. Add TMB colorimetric solution to produce a blue product, which eventually turns into yellow under the action of the stop solution. The absorbance (OD value) is measured at a wavelength of 450nm on the ELISA instrument. The absorbance (OD value) is positively correlated with the concentration of PCSK9 in the sample to be tested. By fitting the calibration curve, the concentration of monkey proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 9 (PCSK9) in the sample can be calculated.
